Inter-House competitions form an integral part of the curriculum. Various competitions like literary, cultural, games and sports, yoga, etc., are held with verve and gusto and aim to highlight the importance of sportsmanship for bringing out the best of the compelling spirit of young players.
At Takshasila Public School, the students are divided into four Houses Krishna, Cauvery, Ganga, and Yamuna. The House teaches good manners, self-discipline, honesty, punctuality, team spirit, a sense of duty and responsibility, and good citizenship.
These houses are looked after by a team of House captains, vice-captains, discipline in-charges, and house masters. The four houses not only symbolize high values, but at Takshasila Public School, our students are also trained to be messengers of these values, not only within the school boundaries but to take them far and beyond.
We recognize that effective learning only sometimes occurs in the classroom, so as a school, we wish to widen learning horizons so that students can connect the outside world to their experiences in school. Clubs are one of the most anticipated programs at TAKSHASILA PUBLIC SCHOOL, and each Club in our school tries to provide these enrichment activities in their way. Art Education makes a tremendous impact on the developmental growth of every child. It improves their clarity and creativity. Art Education helps students to have a deeper understanding of human behavior, motivation, diversity, and culture. Students understand scientific facts and principles involved in various forms of work. Students appreciate the utility of productive work and services to the community.
Best out of waste activity uses waste materials of their choice in an innovative way to make different items. Students participate whole heartedly and enjoy the group activity thoroughly.

To inculcate the spirit of patriotism and National Integration, Takshasila Public School celebrates all the National festivals like Independence Day, Republic Day and Gandhi Jayanthi and religions festivals with vigour and fervour. Students learn to respect all religious and develop unity and equality.
Assembly in any school reflects the ideals for which the school stands for Assembly inculcates discipline, leadership qualities and organizational skills. The school observes all the important days and festivals. With the daily news and thought, a song or speech or dance it is very lively and interesting.
