HOUSE SYSTEM
Inter-House competitions form an integral part of the curriculum. Various competitions like literary, cultural, games and sports, yoga, etc., are held with verve and gusto and aim to highlight the importance of sportsmanship for bringing out the best of the compelling spirit of young players.
At Takshasila Public School, the students are divided into four Houses Krishna, Cauvery, Ganga, and Yamuna. The House teaches good manners, self-discipline, honesty, punctuality, team spirit, a sense of duty and responsibility, and good citizenship.
These houses are looked after by a team of House captains, vice-captains, discipline in-charges, and house masters. The four houses not only symbolize high values, but at Takshasila Public School, our students are also trained to be messengers of these values, not only within the school boundaries but to take them far and beyond.
SCHOOL CLUBS
We recognize that effective learning only sometimes occurs in the classroom, so as a school, we wish to widen learning horizons so that students can connect the outside world to their experiences in school. Clubs are one of the most anticipated programs at TAKSHASILA PUBLIC SCHOOL, and each Club in our school tries to provide these enrichment activities in their way. Club activities help students develop a sense of unity and teamwork, learning to work with others to reach goals.

LITERARY ACTIVITIES
The school has sent 27 batches of Class X for the CBSE Examination. It has achieved a distinguished position by securing 100% pass percentage every year. Takshasila Public School students, down the years have been high profile achievers in all walks of life all over the globe.
CULTURAL ACTIVITIES
Cultural Activities are conducted regularly throughout the year on different occasions. Cultural activities include music and dance. The students learn the technique, melody, rhythm, tune, and synchrony to reach perfection.
GAMES & SPORTS
‘The first wealth is health. Education is a combination of classroom learning and lessons learned on the game field. Besides academics Takshasila Public School gives equal importance to the physical development of the students. We are proud to have a vast playground where students enjoy playing cricket, Throwball, Volley ball, Basket ball, Kho-Kho, Kabbadi, etc., Discipline and the spirit of true sportsmanship are inculcated in the students. Well-trained coaches teach the students all the necessary skills to excel in all sports events. The students are encouraged to participate in Inter-school sports competitions.
ART EDUCATION
Art Education makes a tremendous impact on the developmental growth of every child. It improves their clarity and creativity. Art Education helps students to have a deeper understanding of human behavior, motivation, diversity, and culture. Students understand scientific facts and principles involved in various forms of work. Students appreciate the utility of productive work and services to the community.
Best out of waste activity uses waste materials of their choice in an innovative way to make different items. Students participate whole heartedly and enjoy the group activity thoroughly.
FESTIVALS CELEBRATIONS
Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other. Today’s child is tomorrow’s citizen’. To inculcate the spirit of patriotism and National Integration, Takshasila Public School celebrates all the National festivals like Independence Day, Republic Day and Gandhi Jayanthi and religions festivals with vigour and fervour. Students learn to respect all religious and develop unity and equality.
ASSEMBLY ACTIVITIES
Assembly in any school reflects the ideals for which the school stands for Assembly inculcates discipline, leadership qualities and organizational skills. The school observes all the important days and festivals. With the daily news and thought, a song or speech or dance it is very lively and interesting. The activities conducted by Science, Environmental, Health and Wellness clubs on Environment Day, World Population Day, Science Day etc., are very thought provoking and informative. Students from pre-primary to class X enthusiastically participate in all the activities.
